Bump Proof Locks
- Look at the interior of the lock to make sure the interior pins are at an angle. This helps avoid bumping.
- Look for locks that have magnetic pins and an inline system.
- Look for locks that have 4 rows of pins. This will create 22 pin possibilities. These locks are designed to be bump proof.
- Some locks called cyberlocks actually have electronic encoding. The cylinders are the same size as regular locks so they are easy to replace with cyberlocks. The battery is in the key so there is no wiring necessary. Cyberlocks cannot be duplicated.
- Another option is keyless entry. They are a bit more expensive but give you added security.
